It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!

I Love this time of year, I love to decorate, trim the tree, hang up stockings, bake cookies and of course the music!

So since I'm feeling all Christmas-y I decided to make a cute little Rudolf The Red Nose Reindeer ornament to start out the holiday season ...

rudolf_ornament

I made a PDF pattern, so you can join in the ornament craftin' fun!

For this project you will need:
Brown Felt
Red Felt
Green Felt
Black Felt
1 red pom-pom (for his nose)
Craft paint
Embroidery Floss
Buttons (optional)
Poly Fill
Thread
Fabric Glue

What To Do:
Trace and cut two of the Rudolf heads onto the brown felt. Trace & cut one of each antlers onto the black felt. Embroider or paint on the eyes and mouth, let dry. Pin the two heads and antlers together, sew right sides facing, turn inside out and stuff with poly fill. Glue on pom-pom and holly berry & leaves, then sew on an embroidery floss loop, and hang on the tree!!

I painted on the mouth, but you could easily embroider it. I also used doll eyes, but you can try buttons or embroidery, if you don't have any at home!

Enjoy!!
